Community

Open Door Group and the Kamloops Employment Service Network have a long history and understanding that working together as a local community is key to helping individual achieve success.

The WorkBC Employment Services Centre delivers the Employment Program of BC which is focused on getting people into jobs so that they can provide a better standard of living for themselves and their families.

One of the resources you have access to at through the WorkBC Employment Service Centre is a Community Board that provides information on local resources, including services such as low cost childcare, housing, access to detox, health services, advocacy and other such resources.

Check on the community board at the centre or ask a centre staff member, who will be there to help you navigate the community services available to you.

If you are aware of a valuable community resource that you think should be listed on our website or community board, please contact us.

The Employment Program of British Columbia is funded by the Government of Canada and the Province of British Columbia
